Little Claire December Stamp Set

Today I'd like to show you some samples I made for the Little Claire December stamp club. I designed them a while back but only just have had the time to show them. All the details on how to join the club are on the Little Claire store here.

Man of My Dreams stamp set

The first two are using the Handy man stamp and sentiment. The second two are using the Knight in shining armour stamp and sentiment. And finally the third is the you're bloomin marvellous stamp and sentiment.

Hope you have enjoyed seeing my projects and don't forget the new stamp club will be out soon!

Here's the front

And here's inside with gift card attached.

File: Snapdragon Snippets
Card: Papermill - buff & ivory linen
Papers: Craftwork cards - Christmas pad
Embossing powders: Wow
Ink: Vintage Photo distress ink
Frantage: Shabby white embossing enamel

A great way to "bling" up a gift card.

Little Claires Monthly Challenge

I finally have time to show you some of my recent makes! But first it's time for the Little Claire Monthly Challenge.

Our theme is

A Special Card

I have used two of the stamps from the Christmas Snowmen stamp set. Snowflakes are a little stamp which I used to make a background. All the stamping and edging has been done with the stamps, a mixed media glue and Wow metallic gold sparkling embossing powder. Really easy but very effective and it really sparkles! I couldn't get the sparkle to show up in the pic.

Here's the fab prize

2 x 'Snowflakes on Pale Blue' Papers (12 x 12)
1 x pack 10 Cards & Envelopes (6 x 6)
1 x pack Red Bling Stones
1 x Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Ripe Persimmon)
1 x metre Red Tartan Ribbon
1 x Little Claire Santa’s Hat stamp
3 x Asstorted Die Cut Sheets (18 colour images)

My other teamies have done some beautiful projects and we'd love you to join in all details are over on the Little Claire blog here.

Monday 1 December 2014

Today it's my turn to post on the Snapdragon Snippets blog: 3 and 3 Under. I've used a fab little file called Mini Fairy Light Houses by Crafty SVG Designs.

These are so easy to make but so effective. Here they are lit up with little electric tea lights.

All the card I've used is from Papermill. I've used some heated snow puff to layer onto the windows and roof. For the main part of the roof I embossed them with an embossign folder and I have used some white frantage to make it look like a light layer of snow. The little snowflakes in the window have been cut on my Explore using some white vinyl. They will look really pretty lit up on my window sill in the house.

They are really easy to make but when you buy the file from the Snapdragon Snippets store you also get a tutorial included with your cut file.
