Christmas Plaque - I Believe

A rainy cold day here in Scotland so what better way to spend an afternoon than crafting. I've used a blank wooden heart plaque.

Stamp set: Gorjuss - Holly
Papers: First Edition - Silent Night
Various die cuts
Frantage - Shabby Blue

Gorjuss - Waiting

So today I decided to use another of my new Gorjuss sets. Slowly working my way through them! I have a load of wooden 10x10 blocks to decorate and I used one for this project. It could be a coaster or maybe a little wall plaque.

First I mod podged the block and then used a paper pad from Craft Asylum to decorate it. The stamps are from the Gorjuss set - Waiting. She has been coloured with Copics and Shin Hans and then paper pieced. The sentiment is from Sam Poole which I chopped into single words. I then added a couple of layers of the mod podge over the top.

I would like to enter this into the Sketch Saturday Challenge as I used the sketch to help me design this.

No2 of the new Gorjuss stamp sets- The Friendly Hedgehog

So today I sat down and made a quick CAS card with another of the new Gorjuss stamps. This one is from a set called "The Friendly Hedgehog".

I've made the card blank and sentiment with the Cricut Explore. For the image I stamped it out, coloured her face and hair with copics and shin hans and then paper pieced her clothes with the Neroli paper pad.

Distressed Box

I haven't blogged or crafted in ages work has got in the way but now I've gone from full time to part time I'm hoping to get back to it. So I was wandering around The Works and saw some wooden blanks. This was one of them.

So I made it into a distressed box.

So the first step was to modge podge the box when that was dry I painted it with some Docraft Acrylic paint in "Sea Spray". After two coats I stamped onto it using Sheena Douglas stamps randomly and pressed some hard, some soft to get the distressed effect. I then used Frantage in Shabby Blue.
I've picked up a few blanks so I'll be showing them in the next few weeks xx
