Today I'm up on the Unity Stamp blog to remind you about the Unity KOTM

I've made 3 6x4 cards for my project life album or you could just as easily use them as toppers for cards.

And I also made this a while ago a door hanger

I love getting my kit each month and it really is good value. A good quality red rubber that you can do anything with!

Too Much Fun!

I really am loving the DecoArt media paints so much so that I made a canvas.

Paints: DecoArt Media Acrylic Paints & Tinting Base

Plus stencils, bottle tops, old credit card, brush splats, doodles etc

Unity Stamps & Mixed Media

Today's make is the result of a little playing around with mixed media. I bought myself some DecoArt media fluid paints and tinting base. I used a blank coaster and primed it with Gesso first. I then used the tinting base, paints and several bits and bobs I already had to make it. The main image and the black background are stamps from June's Unity SMAK kit.

It was messy but I had fun! :0)

July SMAK kit

Here's a card I made today featuring this month's SMAK it.

I've used glossy accents for the actual eye (which hasn't shown well in the pic) and glitter for the outside.

Here's a pic of the whole kit. Details are here on the Unity Stamp store.

Unity Stamps - June SMAK

Here's today's make a card using the Unity June SMAK kit.

So for my card I inked the long "splat" onto some patterned paper in lilac ink and clear embossed it. For the main images I coloured them with Copics and distress inks and then cut them out. I cut out all the panes inside the window with a sharp craft knife so I could layer up the tree stamp for a background. I adhered the window and tree image together and then adhered them onto the paper. For the girl I adhered her with 3D pads to make her stand out in front of the window. I then cut up the sentiment image into lines and adhered with 3D pads again.
It really is a beautiful kit.

Here's the whole kit, you can see the details on how to join up for the monthly SMAK here. The July kit is out now!
