I am wanting to concentrate more on my 3D work. I have a Silhouette Cameo which I love but I also have a Cricut Explore on preorder. I really enjoy making 3D projects and it chills me out which I need right now.
So in saying that I've had time to make this fab pop up card for my daughter to give to her teacher at the end of the term.
Of course it's by my favourite designer Lori Whitlock and is called A2 desk pop up card. It's available in the Silhouette store.
Here is the front of the card
And here is the inside pop up desk
Isn't it cool? You can dress it up however you want. I made mine a bit masculine as it's for a male teacher.

Papers: WRMK - Hall Pass
Brads: My stash
White card: Papermill

I'll be doing lots more 3D projects very soon and when I get my Explore I'll let you know how it is.

Fabulous card, Sharon! Thank you so much for posting it on FB and writing about it here on your blog. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing it! You do amazing work. And, by the way, I really enjoy 3-D design, too. It chills me out, too : )
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely amazing!! I have a silhouette machine and have only used it so far for basic cutting.... I have however, been buying lots of 3D files so I'm going to have a cutting session and make some more skillful stuff :-)
