So today at Unity Stamps we get to co-hop with Sweet Petunia to showcase the fantastic stamping tool called the Misti and Unity stamps. I've only recently started using a Misti and I can honestly say I wouldn't be without it now. Such a great tool!! And with the Creative Corners it's a must have!!!
So for my first card I've used Unity Stamps "You Are This" kit.
I used the Misti to position my layered stamps.
And then stamped out the sentiment from the kit. I used the Misti's Creative Corners accessory kit.
This helped me to get the sentiment in a straight line.
For my next card I used Unity's "Jars of Love x3" kit.
So first I used the Misti to place the jars.
I then stamped the labels using the Misti creative corners.Doing this helped me to line them up exactly so they fit into the jars and they were all in the exact same place in each jar. I then masked off the labels and stamped the hearts to appear underneath the labels.
I used Copics to colour the jars and hearts. I then paper pieced the labels in co ordinating papers. I stamped out the sentiment and cut it up and layered it.
Also Unity Stamps is bringing out a new tool to go with the Misti. This will enable stampers to do mirror images like in this card that I designed. I've used the Misti, the mirror stamp tool and a kit by Phyllis Harris called "Every Breath." The image on the right is the original stamp and the left image is the "mirror" image.
Everyone who leaves a comment on all the blogs in the hop will go into a drawing for 3 prize packs from Unity and winner's choice of an Original or Mini MISTI. You must comment by May 30th at noon central time. Winners will be posted both on the Unity blog and My Sweet Petunias blog on May 31st.
So here are your links.
Have fun!!!
Sharon
