My new vice!!

So I have a confession to make. I am coveting the gorgeous Kelly Rae Robertson collection. So far I've only got 2 figures but I can see more coming into my home!!

I've used an assortment of kits by Wish Bliss Studio. Such a shame I think she has stopped designing kits now. They are unusual and really beautiful kits. If anyone knows different please could you leave me a comment? Thanks.

Grateful For This Memory

So today I'm showing you a digi layout. I used to do so many of these a while back and felt like the family trips we were taking and the photos were getting ignored. So I've started doing them again.

Last Saturday we went to a brilliant place in Edinburgh called the Butterfly and Insect World. Soon as we walked in the butterflies were flying everywhere, really beautiful ones too. We were lucky enough to have some land on us and one actually landed on Rob's earlobe. 

At 3pm everyone was allowed to handle a millipede, snake and a tarantula. Rob and Robbyn declined but me and Tyrrell were well up for it!!

A great day out if you are ever in Edinburgh. It's attached to a Dobbies gardening centre which has a lovely cafe/ restaurant. There is also a small play park.

Creative Expressions Tag

Morning and today's project is using the lovely Creative Expressions Heartfelt Creations - Delicate Asters stamp set.

I've used a blank manilla tag and covered it with spray inks and then splodged it with Distress Inks. I then stamped the Asters and leaves with clear embossing ink and used white embossing powder. I then splodged some marigold distress ink onto some card to make a background paper. I then stamped and white embossed more flowers onto this card and cut them out. I then layered them up. The sentiment is from Sam Poole Art Sayings stamp plate.

I finished off with some of the white sheer edged wrinkle ribbon. I coloured it with Tim Holtz peeled paint distress ink.

Creative Expressions

Friday already and it's time for my DT post for Creative Expressions.

This month we were given two lovely stamp sets

Heartfelt Creations Delicate Asters and Heartfelt Creations Open Vintage Floret 

I've used my Cammie to make the Lori Whitlock Double picture frame. I've cut it from Co ordination cardstock and distressed it.I've used Tim Holtz Kraft Resist paper on the inside edge of the frame.

The flowers are from the Open Vintage Floret set and  have been stamped onto card with Vintage Photo and Persimmon distress pads.  I then stamped them again onto acetate and clear embossed them. Each flower then had an acetate cover. The leaves are from the Delicate Asters set and have been stamped onto an old book page and inked with the vintage photo ink. 

Lol the pics are of my two eldest when they were little. I put a sepia tint on the pics using Photoshop.
