Cupcakes

Today I made these cupcakes for Rob to take into work as we had some honey off one of his workmates (he has his own bees). I put some honey into the middles of the cake and made some sunflowers to put on the top

Honey 'n' Sunflower cupcakes

I had a bit of an experiment this morning. I was stuck in the kitchen cos we are having some rooms painted so decided to make some cupcakes. I knew I was going to use sunflowers so decided to use some honey too. I added it to the sponge mixture. At least I learnt something new today - you need more than a tablespoon to be able to taste it!! But they still were really yummy.

The photo doesn't show the true colours as I had to use my Blackberry. The buttercream is a lovely orange colour, the sunflowers yellow and the middles are small chocolate chips.

Cupcakes!

So here is my first photo. My first lot of cupcakes baked in our new home. Not a very good photo as I had to use my Blackberry. Can't find the camera at the moment.

The orange coloured ones are made with an orange flavoured sponge topped with orange buttercream and orange and lemon slices.

The others are sponge with a bramble preserve middle and topped with a pink buttercream and pink and white heart sprinkles.

I think I need to be a bit more creative and give them proper names.
