Time For Tea Designs Blog Hop

Hi there

It's time for a Time For Tea blog hop!!! T4T have brought out some brand new stamp sets and the team are showing off their projects in a blog hop.

So for the hop I am showcasing the cute Hip Hop Hooray stamp set. I have coloured them with Spectrum Noir Illustrator pens. The background is a stencil from T4T called "Sunny Side Up". I've used Oxide inks with these stencils. The frame is a T4T die called "Scalloped Frame" die. They are all available in the Time For Tea store here https://timeforteadesigns.co.uk/

I have a code T4TSHARON10 for the T4T store, use this code and you will get 10% off across the store.

Aren't they cute and ideal for those upcoming Spring cards.

Mixed media Waterfall card

I haven't used my blog for absolutely ages mainly because no one visited anymore. Is blogging still a thing?

Anyway I wanted to show this waterfall card that I would like to enter in to the Craft Stamper "Take it , make it " December challenge.

I've used some gorgeous new Tracey Hey Designs stamps. The sets are called "Let's get dizzy" and "Having it all".

I used the Crafter's Companion waterfall die to make the base.

The background of each image has been made by smooshing Distress Oxide sprays and then stamping the curves over the top. I've added highlights using a white pen. The circles have also been made in the same way and fussy cut.
I stamped out the main image and coloured them with Spectrum Noir Illustrator pens and then fussy cut them.

For the bigger backgrounds I have used two Clarity stamp paper pads.

The sentiments have been stamped with versamark and then white embossed onto black card.

Here's the front of the  waterfall card.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge

This week's Cute Card Thursday challenge is

Brads, Sequins or Gems

Here's my card I've chosen sequins for the theme

For my card I've used one of the newer background stamps from Crafters Companion. This one is called "Bees in the border". It's a 3 part stamping set and works really well. I've added some sparkle pen and liquid glass on the bees and some stickles on the flower centres.

I've also used the 1st stamp to make a background using clear embossing powder.

Stamp set: Crafter's Companion - Bees in the border
Inks: Tim Holtz Oxide Inks - Spiced Marmalade & Fossilized Amber
Dies: Happy - Issue 21 of the Crafter's Companion mag.

This week we are sponsored by My Creative Scoop  . One lucky winner will win a $10 certificate which you will be able to spend on an online class or in the etsy shop.

Good Luck
