Let it snow

Morning, wet and wild here this morning!! Today I'd like to show you my Creative Expressions DT project using the gorgeous Creative Expressions unmounted Let it snow stamp set.

Here's the finished card and I have made a little tutorial for you too, hope it's helpful in some way!!

Put some Faded Jeans distress ink onto your craft sheet and spritz with a little water. Using a slightly smaller piece of watercolour paper than your blank card, smoosh it through the ink.

Lay down some Dusty concorde distress ink onto the craft sheet and using a scrunged up piece of cling film apply the ink to the paper randomly. Next "splat" straight onto the card with picket fence and victorian velvet distress stains.

Take the holly stamp and stamp two images in the left top and right bottom corner with Adirondak berry purple ink.

On a piece of watercolour paper stamp out the snowman in Faded Jeans distress ink and using a watercolour brush , paint in some shadow using the ink from the outline. Ink the edges of the paper too.

Take some crystal stickles and apply to all the "swirly" bits on the snowman and a little to his shadow on the floor.

Paint around the snowman with Distress Crackle Paint. I had some hard bits around the lid so I used them along the bottom of the image. Set aside and let dry.

Stamp out two of the holly images onto Kraft paper with faded jeans distress ink and cut out just the berries and leaves.

Appy peeled paint distress stickles to the leaves.

Colour in the berries with a red pen and then appyly glossy accents

Stamp the let it snow sentiment along a piece of white cardstock with the faded jeans distress ink.Adhere to a slightly smaller strip of Kraft paper.
.

To finish the card, adhere the inked watercolour paper to the blank card. Adhere the sentiment and place the image slightly over the sentiment strip using 3D pads. Now place the holly over the inked images of the holly using 3D pads.

Another Xmas card made!!
