Remember the 3 tags from the post at the bottom of the page? Well there were 6, I used 3 and now I've created the other 3.

The backgrounds have been done with Dylusion spray inks and acrylic paint and stamps. The foregrounds have all been made with Sam Poole's Creative Studio stamp range. The figures have been coloured with Copics and the stamped embellies have been stamped out of a Prima Fairy Belle pad.

Another post from me today!! I was watching a Dina Wakley video where she was saying you should just put some colour down onto some tags and it inspires you. So I did!! And this is what I made.

They all have Dylusions sprays for backgrounds and various masks, stamps etc.

For this one I embossed it and went over with a white powder. The sun, cloud and crow are images from Crowabout Studio B. I then used some Making Memories rub ons.

For my second tag I've used a Stampotique stamp, sequin waste and Lisa's Altered Art words. The white circles are acrylic paint on a glue lid top.

My third tag is a Lisa's Altered Art image and I've used cream paint through a mask for the tiny squares.

I've made 6 tags altogether 2 each of the same background. Not used the other 3 yet so we'll see what I do with them later.

Today I wanted to show you a tag I made.



I used a plain kraft tag and gessoed on a patterned napkin. Then on went some of the gorgeous Dylusion spray inks. I sprayed them onto my craft mat and then smooshed the tag into them. Next step was to lightly brush over some light acrylic paint leaving some areas bare. I then stamped a butterfly image in black aon the top left and bottom right.
The image is a digi image from My Creative Bliss which I coloured with Copics and a white posca pen. I then sprayed it with glimmer mist. After sticking it to the tag I went around it with a tiny bit of the acrylic paint to tone it into the background. Next I cut out 2 butterflies from a scrapbook paper and stuck them onto the tag. Just cut out the quote and went around this and the whole tag with a little black ink.

All the tags have been inked with my new Dylusions ink sprays, really vibrant colours. I've used a variety of stamps and collage pictures and of course my fav texture gesso.

I'd like to enter these tags into the Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge as the challenge is A Tag!

Mixed media stuff

Today I'd like to show you a couple of mixed media projects I made yesterday. The first is my March page for my art journal.


My second is a tag.I'm making quite a few tags so that I can learn new techniques and see how they look.


For both I've used gesso, distress stains, spray inks, tissue paper, paperartsy stamps, white pen, distress inks, stencils etc etc. You get the picture!! Almost everything!

Two more tags

Another two tags to show today. Think I'm ready to do a journal page now after practising with the tags.
These two are made using the gorgeous images from Octopode Factory. They are called Easter and Spring.

Polkadoodles on C&C and 2 tags

Not been much in the way of cards on my blog as I've been doing samples for the Polkadoodles show on C&C. It's on Sunday at 9am and 2pm so don't forget to watch!!

But I do have a couple of tags to show you. I've been practising techniques to put on my art journalling pages. Using tags is a great way to do this.





I love the texture of the tree, I used some TH crackle paint in clear.If you click on the tags you'll get a lovely close up.

They've both been made with a background of pastels, spray inks, distress stain, paint, gesso, ink pads and paper artsy stamps.I've also used stencils.
