New DT

My time at SVG Attic is now up but I was asked to be on the sister team Snapdragon Snippets and of course I said yes! Snapdragon Snippet files are on the SIL store but most are available in kit form from SVG Attic.
But there is a new blog and ventures in the pipeline . I'll be posting here when they happen.

So just to jog your memory here are some projects I have made for SVG Attic but are available in the Snapdragon Snippet store in the SIL store.

I'll be posting my first project for Snapdragon Snippets on the 6th October.

SVG Attic - Creepy Candelabra

This will be my last project for SVG Attic. I'm sad to be leaving as it's been great working with the SVG Attic Design Team and files.

So for this project I've made something for Halloween, a creepy Candelabra.

I have used a fantastic kit called Creepy Candelabras. Don't forget SVG Attic have a 50% off sale on most of their files at the moment too.

Creepy Candelabras

This project is called Creepy Chandelier but I found it stands perfectly for a table decoration too. You can put a little battery powered tea light in the middle. So I cut it out using my favourite coloured card , purple. But then I thought it would look great with a scary spider and web :0). So I used two SIL  files from Snapdragon Snippets. The Spider Web Corner file  #46584  which I added some glitter to and also the Spiders file #46585  and I added glossy accents to him.

Laugh

Something a bit different from me today, it's a bit of a blast from the past really. I found my file of arty stamps in the garage when looking for something else and realised how lovely they are, too good to sit in a box. So here is what I made just for the fun of it.

 Papermill white linen card
Distress Inks: Milled lavendar, Seedless preserves & Tattered rose
Stencil: Memory Box - Texture honeycomb
Stamps: Art Journey - Smile, Adorable & Men
White embossing powder
Memento black
White Posca pen
Frantage: Vintage Pink

I think I may use these stamps a lot more as I like how it turned out.

SVG Attic - Above It All

Today I get to show you one of my favourite 3D projects for my blog  post on the SVG Attic blog.
I had great fun making it and although it looks daunting it really isn't as there is a great tutorial on Jodie's Needles 'n' Knowledge blog. Jodie's written and photo instructions are very clear and precise.

So here it is

This hot air balloon is a gift box and is part of a kit called Above It All.

JGW Above It All

I have used Papermill pale turquoise card and the papers are My Minds Eye - Lucky in Love.

I love how it turned out and at the moment it has it's place on my mantlepiece.

SVG Attic have some stunning kits and it's well worth having a look at the store and their Facebook page. I cut this file using my Cameo Silhouette but lots of the newer files also have the Cricut Explore cutting files to use too.
