Polkadoodles Challenge

It's Friday yay!!! I can't wait for the weekend as I'm going to my first UK craft fair at the SECC, Glasgow. I've been living in Germany for the last 11 years and craft shops were a bit far and few between so I'm really going to go mad I think!!!

Anyway enough gabbing and onto today's card and it's for my 1st Polkadoodles challenge as a DT member. So the theme is

Mystical & Magical

and as it's a Stashbox stamps week the DT can use any of their stamps and compliment them with Polkadoodle papers, sentiments and embellies.

So here's my card

All papers, ribbon and sentiments are from the Christmas Boutique kit and the digistamp is from Mo Manning.

Cute Card Thursday

The weeks are flying by! Thursday again and it's time for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge. For today's challenge the DT were asked to follow a sketch.

I've used my new Pretty Tuff CD from Polkadoodles again. That's the papers, images and sentiment. I've coloured the images with copics. The ribbon and buttons are from the Polkadoodle's Christmas Boutique kit.

The CCT girls as always have made a beautiful set of cards for the theme again this week. Pop over and have a look and hopefully you'll be inspired to join in with us!

Pretty Tuff!

I have some exciting news for you today if you've seen my post below then you'll know what I mean.
Nikky from Polkadoodles has designed a brand new CD called Pretty Tuff to compliment the Pretty Sweet CD. At last a brilliant male themed CD! It's absolutely fabulous. I don't really use CDs but this one has me converted! You can print everything out or like me if you enjoy colouring your images you can print them out in black and white and give them your own colour scheme.They are a gem to colour! The papers all match beautifully, my fav is the scattered letters one and you also get sentiments and embellies. The sentiments can be punched out as they fit a 1 1/2" or 2" punch.

Lucky me I get to play now but........ you can preorder yours at the Polkadoodle store here. Shipping will commence on the 7th November on a first ordered first served basis. My advise.. DO IT NOW! You can also see the launch of the Pretty Tuff CD at the NEC Hobbycrafts.

Polkadoodles Challenge

It was a bit too late for me to make a card for this week's challenge on Polkadoodles but as I'm now on the team I can still tell you about it!!
So the theme is "Halloween" and Nikky has kindly arranged for everyone to grab a freebie to use on your work. You can grab it here.Just right click on the images and you've got them!
Fantastic prize to win this week it's the Sundae of Seasons CD. Jealous? Much! It has more than 4000 images to suit every occasion.
Well worth taking part in the challenge I think.

News!!

I can now officially tell you that I have been accepted onto the Polka Doodle DT!! I have to admit I first saw Nikky's work on C&C not very long ago and fell in love. Must have been fate but a few days later I saw that she had a DT call and applied.
I had the good news a few days ago and I'm awaiting some products. So when they come look out! there'll be plenty of Polka Doodle cards.
