All Dressed Up Inspiration Part 2

So the other day I showed you the door hanger I made for my daughter , today I would like to show you a door hanger I made for my son.

The image is of course from All Dressed Up Wendy Burns Designs and will be available in Wendy's Etsy shop very soon. This image was designed by Wendy from a photo I sent her of my son, Tyrrell. Fab isn't it?

I've printed him out onto Papermill super smooth white card and coloured him with Copics and Shin Han pens.  I've also added a little glossy accents to the TV screen and controller.

Don't forget we still have an ongoing challenge at the All Dressed Up Challenge blog.

All Dressed Up Inspiration post

Morning , my turn for the inspiration post on the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog and I have used Love to Craft. It's my fav ADU image (for now) as it's the image Wendy made for me of my daughter, Robbyn.
It's available from Wendy's Etsy shop here.

I've used a blank chipboard door hanger and covered it in patterned paper, I then sanded the edges.  I then used Shabby Pink Frantage randomly over the hanger and added the "Robbyn".
The image was printed onto Papermill super smooth white card and then coloured with Shin Han pens for the hair and Copics for the rest.

I hope I've given you some inspiration on how to use your All Dressed Up images. Any of the images would look great.

Don't forget we still have a challenge going on here.   The theme is

Autumn colours and/or Give thanks.

That Craft Place Challenge

Our challenge at That Craft Place this fortnight is

Think Pink

So I have made another tag.

I made the blank tag with my Cameo and a brand new paper from Papermill. It comes from a Luxury Artist Pad. 20 sheets of A4 300gsm watercolour paper. It holds inks etc really well.
I've used Dylusions ink in Bubblegum, picket fence distress stain and blush gilding wax. All these are available at the That Craft Place shop. The flower and ribbon are also from the shop.

The image is from All Dressed Up and is one of the images from the Wear With Style 2 set. I've coloured her with Copics and a little bit of stickles for her belt.

The other DT girls have made some gorgeous pink projects too, why not go over and take a look? We'd love to see you join in.

All Dressed Up Meets Mixed Media

Today I would like to show you a little bit of inspiration on a way to use some of your All Dressed Up images.
A mixed media tag

I have used one of the gorgeous  images from Wendy Burns - Wear With Style 2 digi image set. Wendy's designs are all available from her Etsy store here.

I took a blank tag and sprayed it with Dylusions spray inks and then added some ripped book papers. Lots of stencilling and stamping with texture paste, inks and gilding waxes came next. I then printed out the image, cut it out with a border using my Cameo and coloured it with Copics. The butterflies have been punched out onto old book paper.

I hope my tag has given you some inspiration to use Wendy's images with your mixed media projects the girls really do go well with this medium.

I'd also love to show you what my daughter created too. Gives me a chance to show you the whole set in the Wear with style 2 set.  As soon as she saw the images she wanted me to print her some to colour in. A great little activity for half term!!! She's going to put them in her Smash book.

Don't forget our first ever All Dressed Up Challenge is still ongoing and you have until the 14th to join in. The challenge is easy it's Anyting Goes!! We have a great prize for one lucky winner a £5 credit to spend in Wendy's etsy shop.

We also have a fab Facebook Group, why not come over and join in with us?

Cute Card Thursday

The theme for this week's Cute Card Thursday is

Distressed

I have distressed all the edges on my papers.

I've used another gorgeous image from the All Dressed Up Wendy Burns Designs. She is called I love my puppy. You're probably thinking where's the puppy but in this set you get 4 images. The full image has flowers and a puppy but Wendy has included the images as singles too. I used Papermill super smooth to print her out on and  I've coloured her with Copics and just a little stardust stickle. The papers are from Prima and are called Doodle Deux.

As always the other DT girls have made some great distressed projects and you can see them all at the Cute Card Thursday Challenge blog.
