Rest of the samples.
Here are the rest of my samples for the Here Comes Christmas CD Rom by Polkadoodles.
Love the colours in this one. The reindeers are a ready made topper on the CD.
When the card was finished I sprayed it with glimmer mist. It gave it a lovely snowy look.
A little penguin easel card.

Polkadoodles Challenge
Another project, two in one day!!
This one is for the Polkadoodles challenge. The theme this week was....
Here's my card
I've used one of the lovely digistamps from Emma Canning called Millie Birthday. They are available from Polkadoodles. I've coloured her with my Copics.
I've used papers from the Pretty Sweet CD Rom, these go so well with Emma's images, very pretty! I've used a Martha Stewart punch for the decorated border and added some ribbon and gems. My recycled bit is the string which I've coloured with tattered rose distress ink.
There are lots of lovely projects from the DT on the Polkadoodles Challenge blog, all different but all equally lovely. Hope to see you join in as I'm sure like me you stash those "come in handy" bits away!!

Studio 12 shabby chic tag
Yay it's Friday and looking forward to the weekend as we are supposed to be
getting some sun at last!!
Today it is my turn over on the Studio 12 blog to show a project and I'd like to show you a really easy but effective tag.
When I received my Studio 12 Picknix Collection 1 from Nikky I print out lots of papers, sentiments, embellies etc and make my projects. When I've finished I end up with lots of left over bits and I'm definately NOT throwing them away. So I use them to make tags or ATCs. So for this tag I've used left over papers from the Welcome Home kit. I've covered the tag with one paper and then ripped some other contrasting paper into strips and layered it onto the tag. I edged it with walnut distress ink and also inked through some sequin waste to create the circles. I next added some of the tape embellie from the All Sewn Up kit and then machine sewed around the tag. With another scrap of paper which I tore and inked I added the Emily Bronte sentiment. Next I cut out 3 of the roses from the Heavenly Garden kit, inked them and adhered them to the tag using 3D pads. An easy but effective tag!!

Willow Sketchie Challenge
Today is my first card for the DT on Willow Sketchie Challenge. Claire has made a sketch and picked the theme, which is
I've used papers, a sentiment and image from the Polly Pickleberry CD Rom. The image has been coloured with Copics. I've punched the decorative borders with a Martha Stewart punch from some of the papers. The flowers and butterfly have also been punched with papers from the same CD.
You can use the sketch, theme or both for your challenge. It would be lovely if you could use something from Willow Designs but if you don't have any then feel free to use anything from your own crafty stash.
You can see the other DT's gorgeous work on the Willow Sketchie Challenge blog here. Hope to see you join in.

Polkadoodles Challenge
Another Friday comes around and the first week of the kid's summer holiday has gone. Only 5 more to go groan!!
So the Polkadoodle Challenge theme for this week's challenge is
I made a little credit card sized card.
I've used papers from the Sundae of Seasons CD and I've inked the edges with peeled paint distress ink. The image is one of the girls from the Pretty Sweet CD and I've coloured her with Copics. The sentiment is from the Sugar Plum Daisy CD. To finish it off I use ribbons, gem brads and punched flowers from my stash.
The other DT girls have made some great gift cards for you to look at and you can see them all here on the Polkadoodles Challenge blog.
We'd love you to join in and you could have a chance of winning a prize!

Studio 12 We Love Candy
Today we are celebrating the launch of Studio 12 on the Studio 12 at Polkadoodles blog. It's been an amazing success! Selling out several times on Create & Craft!
Here's what Nikky has to say:
So, to celebrate the launch and it's massive success so far, we've decided that we should have some candy up for grabs. So make sure you follow us, give us a little plug on your own blog and then leave us a comment with a link to your post beneath this one and we will select 3 lucky winners using a random number generator to receive one of the Studio 12 collections on download - woohooo!
In addition, as this is a brand new blog and we'd like to increase our follower numbers, when we get to 200 followers we'll add some additional candy and do another random draw too - so please get spreading the word about how fab the Studio 12 blog is! We really do hope you like what we're bringing you, we think it's a great mix of styles and diversity, the team are really helping us all see just how much we can actually do when it comes to hybrid crafting with Studio 12, we've gone far beyond the realms of just cardmaking I think and we're only just getting started!
The Design Team have all come up with a project to show you today for a little inspiration. Mine is an altered frame which I made out of a £1.50 wooden frame.
I modge podged the whole frame and then measured and cut out papers from the Welcome Home kit from the Studio 12 Picknix collection 1. I next printed and cut out the houses from the Heavenly Garden kit, edged them with walnut distress ink and used 3D pads to adhere them to the frame. The flowers were cut from the papers and inked around the edges and again adhered with modge podge. The little butterflies were punched using a Martha Stewart punch. I also added a little lace stickle to the middles. the middle is a sentiment from the Welcome Home Kit and it has been cut out and inked and put into the recess in the middle of the frame. I then went over the whole thing with the distress ink.
If you'd like to win some candy and see the other DT girl's fab projects then you need to go here.
