I've been getting messy and enjoying some mixed media so here is my card

and a close up

So for this card I've used:

Oxide Inks - Faded Jeans, Mermaid Lagoon, Tumbled Glass, Twisted Citron and Bundled Sage.

WOW embossing powders - Opaque Bright White, Midas Touch, Clear & Black Twinkle.

Dies: Sizzix Bigz - Primitive Hearts

Stamps: A whole load of AALL & Create stamp sets

Sentiment: Mama Elephant - Everday Greetings

Quack the duck

The theme for this week's Cute Card Thursday Challenge is Anything Goes. We are sponsored by Whimsy Stamps this week and one lucky winner will get to choose 3 digi images from them.

I'd also like to enter this card into the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge and again that is Anything Goes.

Here's my card

I've used 2 stamp sets from AALL and Create for my card. 

Quack the Duck & #50.

First I created a mask from a circle die. The background is made with Brushos and a little water. I then stamped images from the #50 stamp set in black versafine. I stamped and embossed the duck and coloured him with Copics and then used 3D pads to adhere him to the background. I love the little sentiment and coloured the "quack" with copics. Just added some sequins to finish it off.

This is your day!!!

I'm entering this card for this week's Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. 

The theme is "Stamp On It".

I've used stamps from AALL & Create.

I've made the background using Oxide Inks, paints and lots of stamps. 

I stamped the sentiment and main image onto white tissue paper and then used a matte medium to adhere it to the background. To make it into a card I layered the main section onto contrasting card and then onto a blank white card.

AALL & Create meets Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

I'm really enjoying working with my new AALL & Create stamp sets they are such fun to work with. So I made a card for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Their challenge this week is Stamp On It. 

So here's my card

I started off with a piece of white linen cardstock, just for more texture. For the background I gessoed an area with white gesso. I let that dry and then using modelling paste I stencilled through a splat stencil. I then radomly blended 3 shades of Oxide Inks over the gessoed area.  

I then blended the same inks over a large piece of coated board and stamped the images. I also added a little white pen for highlights.

The animals have been stamped onto white card and I've added a little grey and pink copic pen to each along with a white pen highlights. 

The drum kit, sentiment and image in the top corner were all stamped with black ink.

I then adhered the board to the card leaving a little gap to show the stamped image underneath. 

The little animals were adhered with 3D pads.

I then layered the whole thing onto a piece of black card and layered that onto a blank white card.

A little bit of mixed media

So yesterday I made this card and added the final touches this morning. It's a mixed media card featuring lots of AALL & Create stamps.

It all started off when I saw the woman with the balloon. I loved the set so bought and the others kind of plopped into my basket too :0)

The background has been made with gesso and watercolours.
