Time For Tea Designs & Heffy Doodle Collab Blog Hop

BLOG HOP DETAILS

Hi everyone and welcome to the Heffy Doodle and Time for Tea Designs Collaboration Blog Hop! Our design teams have come together to share some amazing inspiration featuring Heffy Doodle and Time for Tea Designs products, and there is a prize up for grabs, too!

For my Thank you collab card I started off making the background. I used the "Wave to me" stencil from Heffy Doodles with distress oxide inks on white card. To add a bit of texture I lightly splashed some water droplets onto the ink. I then added some sand to the bottom of the background again using the inks and white card.

I then die cut the Thank you sentiment die and the Scalloped frame die from Time For Tea Designs in white card. I die cut the thank you die 3 times to make it nice and sturdy and to help it stand out.

Using the Heffy Doodles Otter Side stamp set and the Time For Tea Mermazing stamp and die set I stamped and die cut the images. These two sets really compliment each other and gave my cards a different look. I then coloured the images and used a white pen for some little highlights.

I adhered the frame and images with 3D foam pads.

There you go a cute sea themed thank you card using two of my favourite crafting companies which complete each other perfectly.

Heffy Doodle and Time for Tea Designs will each be giving away £25 to spend in their respective stores.

Time For Tea Designs Blog Hop

It's time for a Time For Tea blog hop!!! T4T have brought out some brand new stamp sets and the team are showing off their projects in a blog hop. 

So for the hop I am showcasing the cute Hip Hop Hooray stamp set. I have coloured them with Spectrum Noir Illustrator pens. The background is a stencil from T4T called "Sunny Side Up". Beth Duff Designs & Kindred Spirit Stamps Collab

Hi there 

Today I would like to show you two cards I made for the Beth Duff & Kindred Spirit Collaboration. 

My first is a Beth Duff Designs set called Adventures Abroad - Hawaii.

I made it into a little shaker card. 

My next card is using a set by Kindred Stamps called Family is Forever.

Night Before Christmas Folding Scene

this is a gorgeous cut file by Crafty SVG Designs available here in the Snapdragon Snippets Store.

There are several different scenes a really lovely centrepiece for your table or a gorgeous gift. I have used silver glitter embossing powder to cover Santa, his sleigh and his reindeer. I've also added some diamond stickles onto the top of the buildings and fences to look like a layer of glittering snow.

All Dressed Up Blog Hop

Our first All Dressed Up challenge & release of 2014 is here...and what a fantastic release it is. 

Both our teams have joined together for this Challenge/Release, and we are also having a blog hop ! 

We have four new releases this month, all of which can be found over on the store 

Our theme for the the challenge is "Anything Goes". A nice and easy theme to start the new year with.

Creative Expressions Sheer Inspiration Blog Hop

Good morning and happy hump day!!

 “Welcome to everyone taking part in the Sheer Inspiration Blog Hop, if you’ve come here from Tracey Laughton's blog you’re in the right place”

So onto the good stuff. Anyone who enters the blog hop will have to leave comments on the eight blogs for a chance to win one of the £15 prizes. I've shown the list of blogs below. Each blog has a fantastic prize of around £15.00!! So you have eight chances of winning £15.

Here's my make.....

o   To showcase the gorgeous Sheer Ruffled Edge white ribbon I have used it to "make" the material of the dress and of course the 3 little roses.

 

      I layered some navy blue and white card for a background. The white card has been embossed with a dotty embossing folder. Using a black ink I stamped out the Stamps to die for - Flower Frame and then clear embossed it.   I layered it up using again navy blue card.

I    then stamped out the Creative Expressions Fishtail Frock dress onto a piece of white card and clear embossed it. I cut it out and cut around the ribbon to shape it to the dress. I then made the sheer ruffle for the dress. The ribbon was adhered to the dress using a clear glue. This piece was then adhered to the frame card. I clear embossed the sentiment too which came with the dress stamp.

     To make the roses I cut a strip of the sheer white ribbon and folded it lengthways in half. I then rolled it loosely and glued the edges in place. I then cut some of the bottom off so it would sit on the card nicely.

      Just to finish off I used a few navy blue pearls.
