Polkadoodles Challenge

This week it was my turn to set the challenge on the Polkadoodles Challenge blog. I chose

De-Stress

How about some distressing on your card?

For my background I've used the Polkadoodles CD, Not for girls. Even this CD can be used for a feminine card it's very versatile. I've sanded them and inked them. The gorgeous image is from Marianne Designs and I've also sanded and inked that. I also added some twine and a little heart. The lovely rose ribbon is also from Marianne Designs. The dream ticket is from the Polkadoodles CD Candy Doodles and I've also inked it. I also added some of the netting from the rose ribbon. I cut one of the roses off the ribbon and added it to the image.
The DT girls have made some gorgeous "De-Stress" projects, lots of inspiration for you. Why not go over to the Challenge blog and take a look. I'd love you to join in with the challenge and I look forward to seeing your projects.

Polkadoodles Challenge

Where are the weeks going??? This week it's Team B's turn to do the Polkadoodles Challenge and our theme is chosen by Enfy's in honour of St George's Day.

Red & White

Although it's a feminine card I've used the papers from the Pretty Tuff CD, even the punched flowers are from the same paper. I've added a little gem to the middles. The bird cage is a die by Marianne Designs which I die cut and then distressed a little and added a bow. The sentiment is from Candy Doodles which I cut out and inked around the edges. The stamp is from the Gorjuss Girl range and I've paper pieced her with the same Pretty Tuff papers. Her skin and hair are coloured in with Copics. I finished off with some ribbons down the side.

Polkadoodles Challenge

Friday yay!! It's time for the Polkadoodles Challenge and the theme is.......

Big Birthdays!

For my card I used the brick effect paper from the Not For Girls CD anc layered it onto dark brown coordinations. I've distressed the card. The number, son, and sentiment are all from the same Not For Girls CD. I finished the 13 and sentiment off with some tiny gold brads.
The image is a fun image from Marianne Designs and is called Skating Don from the Don and Daisy range.

The top three winners of this challenge will win a SugarPlum Daisy CD each. Well worth entering then!! As always the DT girls have done a fab job with their cards. You can see them all at the Polkadoodles Challenge Blog.

Polkadoodles blog hop

Today on the Polkadoodles challenge blog Team A are doing a blog hop to win some fab Marianne Designs goodies.

Our fabulous sponsors Marianne Design are giving you the chance to win this adorable Garden themed Creatable as part of our blog hop!
Creatables are handy stencils that cut and/or emboss. They can be used in many machines, with all kinds of paper. The cut-out and embossed shapes are ideal to make your cards and other creative projects even more beautiful. We also have this lovely cuter than cute Snoesjes stamp, a fabulous 32 page paper pack and we adore this stunning flower ribbon - this candy is just scrumptious

In addition to this wonderful Marianne Design candy the first prize winner will receive a brand new Sugarplum Daisy CD and a Candy Doodles CD from Polkadoodles plus 2 further winners will also receive a Candy Doodles CD - so there are 3 chances of win in our Hop challenge.

Here is what you must do (you might find some extra candy along the way from the DT so make sure you visit them all).

Challenge stage 1: now we know not everyone likes to do a hop for whatever reason so we still have our normal challenge for the week which is Easter themed - you must make a card or project that is Easter themed.

All details are on the Polkadoodles challenge blog.

Polkadoodles Challenge

Yay Friday at last!! And time for another Polkadoodle challenge. This week it's

Men's Cards
I have made a grungy card for this one.

I used the Polkadoodles Not For Girls CD. The papers have been ripped , distressed and inked with distress inks. Also did the same for the ticket, image and sentiment.

The image and ticket are taken from the Eclectic file on the Not for girls CD and the papers are from the Back to Nature an readin and ritin files.

When the card was assembled I went over it with some distress stains. I then added some buttons as embellies.

If you go over to the Polkadoodle Challenge blog you will see some gorgeous Men's cards from the other DT members.

This week we have some lovely blog candy too! We have a basket craftable and a boat themed creatable die. They are both from Marianne Designs. Well worth joining in for!
